Laser Surgery for Haemorrhoid

Haemorrhoids (piles) are enlarged blood vessels around the anus (back passage). There are two types of haemorrhoids: internal and external. Surgery is required for certain types of haemorrhoids, or where other forms of treatment have not been able to control the symptoms. 

 

Laser haemorrhoid procedure (LHP) is a new laser procedure for outpatient treatment of haemorrhoids in which hemorrhoidal arterial flow feeding the hemorrhoidal plexus is stopped by laser coagulation.
